A few months ago I was introduced to the art and portraits of John Howard Sanden. I recently purchased his book that explains how to paint a portrait (or anything for that matter) in 29 logical steps. I went ahead and gave it a try using Corel Painter. So this image is copied from his book, using the 29 steps.

I like the painting, is this the book that they copied for you in the BYU bookstore?
No, this book is different. It's actually the revised version of the bookstore one.
