Recently I noticed that if I wanted to get more people to check out my blog that it would help if I posted a pretty face in order to boost hits. I figured I'd give it a shot.
I, like the rest of the world, am a huge fan of 24.
Well last night's episode was one of the best that I've seen this season. It seemed to have the receipe of a good episode which included: a bit of suspense, a pinch of drama, and a dash of gun fire/explosions. But to top it all off, it had Jack Bauer being made a fool by none other than Robocop (Peter Weller). My favorite was when Curtis had to take down Samwise the Brave and put him in holding. You don't mess with Curtis. Oh Sam...

I watched the original Pink Panther over the weekend and later drew these from the DVD. I do that quite a bit. You get such interesting characters, acting, costume, etc. I haven't seen the new one with Steve Martin, but what I've seen from the previews, he has nothing on Peter Sellers. In fact, Steve Martin needs to quit doing re-makes all together. The last good thing he was in was probably 3 Amigos.

Last year I started head painting classes using oil. It's been a challenge but really fun at the same time. This is sort of a progression of my first painting up til now. Some are from life and some are from pausing dvds. I don't know if I'm getting better or worse, but I have fun doing whatever it is I'm doing.

Today is my daughters 1st Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACE. This other I call "Frustrated." I did this for a contest. Hopefully I'll win something. If not, it was still fun to do.

It was pretty cool. Last night I was able to go and see a presentation by Pixar. These three came and talked about the "pipeline" and the basic procedure to making a Pixar film. They really didn't say anything that hasn't been said on the special features of any of their DVD's. But it was really fun. I even got a Mike antenna ball.

My daughter is turning 1 this next week and this is the duck I designed for her birthday invites. We're throwing her a rubber ducky party because her first word was "duck."

I'm entering this into an illustration show. I want to go back and finish it really. I'd like to make a more appealing monster.

Top left is a poor rendition of Vivien Leigh. Top right I can't remember. Bottom left is my daughter at 6 months. And bottom right is Clark Gable with with his eyes too close together.
